Exterior Inspiration Pics

Here are a few inspiration pics of the exterior. We plan to use colors/ideas from these pictures to create our own custom look.

This image is very close to our plan, but we will use brick instead of stucco.

Floor Plan

This is the original floor plan, which we are now modifying. Our modified plan is in the process of being finalized, so I'll post it once it's complete. The overall square footage is around 3300 sq ft.

The major changes:

1) The floor plan is in reverse
2) The garage is flipped 90 degrees so it is side entry and we changed it to 3 cars
3) We added 2 ft in width and 3 ft depth to the house (primarily to increase living room, breakfast room and covered porch spaces)
4) The mud room/laundry space are now vertically aligned and the space is larger
5) The formal dining has become the guest room (the increased breakfast room space will be large enough to accommodate at least 8)
6) The pantry/butler's pantry is now combined so there isn't a pass through to the guest space. A portion of the pantry will become a front hall closet.

Lot Purchased

The lot has been purchased, and it is now a waiting game to get bids back from builders. We are in the process of finalizing our floor plan/finishes and cannot wait to break ground!

Here's a picture of our lot. As you can see, there are not a lot of homes near us yet. We chose this lot because we wanted a good sized lot (it's about .5 acre) on a corner.
